5 quick ways to free up stress without leaving the work desk

We all know this feeling, or at least we have tried it once in a lifetime. Sometimes we feel the need to get up from our work table and get out for what's known as "getting some air" in order to get rid of stress and keep up the work. But in the meantime you get a call and you have to stay for another five to six minutes - and in the worst case, not standing up at all.

In this case you have to act differently to relieve stress as you can not avoid the work desk and the obligations that await you. Below are five quick swings to reduce stress by staying on your work desk.

  1. Ear Massage

It seems strange to be done in the workplace, but it is a practice of traditional Chinese medicine which has proven to work. Other medical studies have shown that ejaculation (or auricular acupression) exacerbates stress and anxiety before and after surgery in patients.

The tick is to massage the ear easily in the center of the upper ear. This point called Shen Men points out that it removes stress and increases energy, which is exactly what you need during a busy day.

If you have difficulty finding this point then massage the inside of the ear and then the outside. This should produce the same effect as the Shen Men point.

  1. Switch off the working space

Your parents have always been right when they told you to clean the room. Your mind reflects the work space and vice versa.

Even if you are overwhelmed with work, then definitely find time and change the position of your things and clear the work space.
When you have adjusted your desk, also arrange yourself. Then you can continue working with new energy.

  1. The trick with your fingers

If you want to rest your fingers, then be sure to rub them well, but be careful with your big toes.

Carefully massage the circles on your big fingers, with lots of gently relaxing your muscles.

  1. Respiratory Technique

Before saying that you know how to do this, read this well. When you breathe deeply, which is the simplest thing, you can relax - but you can do this more if you practice some other small things.

It's easy. When you breathe, imagine that you have air on your stomach instead of your chest. Push the stomach before to pull the air down as follows, then loosen it by doing the opposite. Work a bit with your muscles to have three breaths, then go back to the usual pace. Now you are more relaxed to do your jobs.

  1. Progressive Relaxation

This meditation technique is used to combat anxiety and stress, and it is the fast way to connect your body without going somewhere.
Start with your fingers tensing and slowly releasing the muscles. Work up the body by releasing the muscles in the leg, stomach, arm, and neck, and even in the face.

It does not take long and you will end up with high energy, ready to face the remaining challenges of the day.
Stress in the office is one thing you can not escape, but it should not be so. Take time to take care of yourself and you'll get results by entering the workflow with increased productivity.
