Health: What foods cause stress, anxiety
Alcohol
When anxious, depressed or upset we usually drink alcohol in order to see more comfort. However, alcohol is one of the foods that increases stress. The mood you only improve temporarily at first and becomes worse then by alcohol affecting the central nervous system, controlling your emotions. Alcohol can cause dehydration, weakening the ability to concentrate and cognitive ability, resulting in anxiety, stress.
Food Additives
There are many food additives that are really harmful and can lead to insomnia due to anxiety, restlessness, and many other disorders. Some additives are used in fruits and vegetables. Some are given in other foods. One of these additives is monosodium glutamate (msg) not only causes anxiety but also harm the brain.
Refined Food
Stay away from refined foods such as pasta, white bread, sugar drinks, confectionery,... because they can affect your mood in many ways. These substances can cause blood sugar oscillation. Sometimes they cause high blood sugar and sometimes cause a sudden hypoglycemia resulting in anxiety.
Coffee
Coffee is also the foods should be limited. Drinking too many coffees stimulate the body to release hormone stress, which increases anxiety sensations.
