Reasons to become vegan [NOT THE ETHICAL ONES]

Hello dear steemians today i wanted to write about something very important, not only from the ethic side but also health.



Why did i stopped eating meat and animal products and why you should as well? Here is a video that i took all my informations from, it's long so if you just want to get the most important information read the post please :)




  • Okay so what's up with that plant-based diet or being vegan anyway?

Let's begin that hearth disease is number one disease that is cousing death in USA.
For example eating ONE EGG A DAY, can cut women life as much as smoking 5 ciggarettes everyday for 15 years! Why? Because of the amount of the cholesterol it contains.

And for example eating just a couple of oatmeal a day can extend womens life just as 4 hours of jogging a week. Isn't that crazy? It's because of fiber.
Another food that will make you live longer are nuts, eating 2 hadfuls a week will get 4 hours of running a week! So my dear steemians EAT NUTS. Also peanut butter without palm oil, added sugar will work nicely. :)




  • Okay but what if your cholesterol is normal? I guess then you are fine right?!

Most hearth attack patients would fit in recommended or optimal cholesterol level. This shows how our standards are still too high.
By published studies we know that cholesterol needs to be lowered to 150mg/dl area. Averge vegeterian reaches this level, YES AVERGE so make sure to check once in a while how is your cholesterol even if you are vegetarian please :)




  • Fat, high-fat diet and animal products overall

Did you know that high-fat diet may contribute to chronic inflammatory diseases of the airway and lung within just hours!? But in 2015 we have figured out why this is happening and apparently it's not because of high fat or animal protein so what is it?

Well after a meal of animal products we suffer from endotoxin, our blood stream become a wash of bacteria toxins found in dead meat. They aren't destroyed by our stomah or anything else, not even cooking for hours helps. And ther reason why it hurts our health so fast after finishing the meal, is because meat contains so much of this bacteria that it can effect us right after the meal... I will say it again...That's crazy isn't it? It's not even a matter of waiting for something to happend, it kills you maybe even at the moment.

Reducing saturated fat won't help, we have to stop eating meat to stop it. 50G Of A CHICKEN TRIPPLE YOUR RISK FOR CANCER! Also chicken is actually one of the worst in this category... The problem is that meat industry is in fear of reducing meat, because they would suffer from economical problems... It's not only my opinion, actually meat industries said that.(You can check that information in the video at minute 12:00)

Studies made using blood from two groups of people, meat eaters and vegans, showed that vegans blood have EIGHT times more fighting power against cancer.




  • So now why is plant based diet so effective in fighting cancer?

Here is the answer.

It's IGF1, it's a cancer promoting growth hormone, if you put people on plant-based diet that proteins goes down a lot, and the protective binding proteins against IGF1 rises. Studies published shows that only VEGAN diet really changes the game, and our binding IGF will rises significantly when we eat vegan.

There are many more my dear steemians but i wanted to do short summary of most important facts that made me eat plant-based diet. Beside all this there is also ethical reasons for me but not everyone feels like it. But as you see, it doesn't have to be ethical reason to actually stop eating meat :)
