DISCOMFORT VERSUS PAIN - ALTERNATIVE TO GYM 1

I’m always lost in my thought most times I see people finding alternative(s) to the conventional or the ideal in a bid to achieve what they cannot afford, claiming that the alternative is better than the normalcy, thereby shying away from the conspicuous.

The reason for this is not far-fetched, there are ideal conditions of things but when the ideal becomes a mirage, the real condition becomes the proper. When the condition is ideal or real, the choice of which to go for boils down on the surrounding circumstances and materials available.

Staying fit and looking muscular is one of the delights of most young lads if not all. In this present dispensation and those to come, ladies now go to the gym and work out as guys do. Though in the real sense, going to gym should not be limited to a certain sex or age class but the perception of gym activities in the part of the world I lives makes going to gym relevant to virile and youthfulness.

The ideal place for anyone who thinks ‘strength training’ and ‘lifting weight’ is good for him is a gym. There, proper training and suitable physical work out will be done that will not cause pain instead of the preliminary discomfort that comes with gym work out. Guys in my neighbourhood who are incapacitated to go to a gym either as a result of financial constraint or proximity get themselves loads of their weights for different muscular development programmes as an alternative to the ideal gym.

It’s the daily routine of these guys to gather together and “gym”- as they do call it, which to me is nothing but an alternative to the actual and ideal gym itself since most of them cannot afford go to the gym for proper and well trained work out. In their claims, they need to stay strong, healthy and fit by engaging in workout routines for bodyweight and weight training and since the ideal condition to affords them these – gym is unattainable, then the real condition which is their set up – heavy metals of varying sizes and weights become the obvious.

The thought of whether this act of theirs is exercise or self-inflicting pain is bemusing as I often get confused whether to join them or not. Lol. I have this thought that exercise is really important and every physical activity comes with its fair share of aches and pains – and there’s no denying that sometimes it can hurt but when “it becomes actual pain – burning or stabbing or sharp – that’s not a good sign and you should stop”.

GIST! GIST!! GIST!!!
I need to stop this right now, they are here today again for similar thing, let me go check them out and take some nice pictures
