My wife is a cancer survivor with a compromised immune system as a result of her treatments. She'll never really be healthy, but she works hard at it.
MRSA is a tough one. She's had it a couple of times, and gets other infections fairly easily. It's tough, because she has to go to the hospital sometimes when it gets out of control, but we can almost count on her getting a secondary infection when we go.
A friend gave us some silver. She used it some, but sparingly since we really couldn't afford to keep her using it often. She wasn't sure how much it was benefiting. I appreciate seeing more research on this. We should revisit it.
It's extremely cost effective and safe when compared to western medicine. Staph infections acquired in hospitals are estimated to cost patients an extra $1.2 million a year.
It doesn't work.
Yes - more research is certainly needed.
It is useful daily to improve a week immune system it is also most useful when there is danger of any kind of infection of any kind. It works way better than any antibiotic for any thing an antibiotic would be used for.
