I HAVE HYPERHIDROSIS

Yes. You read the topic right. Don't be scared if you do not know what it means that's why I'm writing this.

Hyperhidrosis, also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea, is a condition characterized by excessive sweating. The sweating can affect just one specific area or the whole body. For me. It affects my palms, under my feet and my underarms.

You relieved? Lolz. It's not life threatening but it is embarrassing. I do not wear anything white. Shirts or dress or top or shoes because of the sweat marks it would leave; not just white any colour that is not dark enough is avoided by me. I feel very bad when people look at me like I have a plague especially when everyone is complaining of cold and I am sweating. People often assume that I do not know what deodorants are meant for...well some of us sweat more when we use deodorants. I am a living proof.

I have been ignoring it for as long as I can remember but Uncle @ejemai noticed it during his last visit to uyo and that's what pushed me to make findings.

So Hyperhidrosis can start from birth or during adolescence. It is of two types: primary and secondary. I have the primary hyperhidrosis. You want to know how I know? The primary hyperhidrosis is mainly of unknown cause while the secondary hyperhidrosis is caused by health issues like obesity, diabetes mellitus, gout etc.

I didn't know there was a way to treat it till now; I will visit the dermatologist as soon as I can afford that.
Please treat Us nicely. Its not communicable but could be inherited. I carry hand TOWEL always because of this, the last time i used a handkerchief it got soaked.
