Nice post! I've done some martial arts such as mma, jiu jitsu and boxing and noticed many positive benefits. What makes Kyusho different from other martial arts?
Nice post! I've done some martial arts such as mma, jiu jitsu and boxing and noticed many positive benefits. What makes Kyusho different from other martial arts?
Kyusho is not a Martial Art, it the core of ancient arts from which all modern styles evolved... it is the core.
It is a study of the weaker anatomical structures and how best to take advantage of them in (any) Martial Art, Health Restoration or Maintenance, as well as all other topics in which the human body is involved. This is one reason the 80 year old Kung Fu guy (real practitioner) can still manage younger and stronger opponents.
It is an equalizer for the smaller, weaker, slower, but more than that if you study any style from Karate, to MMA if you do not target the weaker structures, what are you targeting, the stronger? Kyusho is the internal body knowledge, not the external.
It is really difficult to nail it down in one post or reply, so feel free to ask more.
But what the gist was intended for this article was that Kyusho adds an internal nerve massage as you do your Martial Style,so it is like going to an Acupressure session at the same time as a Martial workout.
Nice question.
