NEVER ACCEPT BARRENNESS UNTIL YOU READ ME!: Literature Review; PART 1
What is Barrenness? - Not producing or incapable of producing off springs. Not capable of bearing / producing off springs could be because of infertility in both male and female.
Islamic and Biblical Views on Barrenness:
*Q 42: 49-50:
To Allah, belongs the dominion of the heaven and the earth; He creates what He wills. He gives to whom he wills female (children) and He gives to whom He wills male or he makes them (both) males and female, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed He is knowing and competent. Quran 42; 49-50.
And Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren and the Lord granted his prayer and Rebekah his wife conceived.
For behold. The days are coming when they will say blessed are the barren and the wombs that never nursed.
Islamic and Biblical views confirm the existence of barrenness; both books gave accounts of some barren women like; Hannah, Sarah, Rebekah, e.t.c. that later conceived and gave birth to children.
The Causes of Infertility in Male
(1) Low sperm production
(2) Abnormal sperm function or blockages that prevent the delivery of sperm
(5) Chronic health problems
(6) Erectile dysfunction
The Causes of Infertility in Female
(1) Ovulations problems: when ovaries stop working properly before age 40.
(3) Endometriosis: painful intercourse or periods heavy bleeding or unusual spotting and general pelvic pain. It can block the fallopian tubes where the eggs release from ovary pass.
(4) Unhealthy body: overweight or obesity can raise risk of having miscarriage.
Therefore before accepting barrenness as faith, study this:
Each time you are faced with challenges, all you need first and foremost is strength and prayers, then medications…
