what are ticks?

Ticks are commom parasite found on the body all various animals. Some ticks also affect humans. It causes severe anaemia to animal to and it can as well cause dealth. Tick belong to group of insect called acarina. It causes high death rate in a farm. Importance of fumigation

We have both hard and soft ticks.

Hard tick

Example include ixodes boophilus, Amblyomma and so on.

what ticks cause are

1. it causes anaemia. It simply means decrease in blood level of your animal ( in lay man's word)

2. paralysis. Tick causes severe paralysis.

3. causes tick worry

4. Inflammation of the skin

We have several ticks that affect cattle sheep and goat and even dogs and they transmit several diseases. Ticks even affect humans.

Instead of boring you with several example of ticks. I will focus on how you can control them.
Firstly, you can use pesticides. In cattle you can use dips, sheep( small dips), dogs( you use various acaricides).
Secondly, you control them pasture management. By

clearing of vegetation

rotation of pasture of pasture to feed your animals.

ploughing of your land to expose the eggs.

vaccination

fumigating your environment too
