We certainly agree that exercise is a physical activity that must be done regularly at least 3 times a week. This is because exercise provides a myriad of good benefits for body health. During this time we exercise only to shape the body to be more ideal, and make the body stay healthy and fit at all times.

However, did you know that exercise has other benefits that are not less important for the body? Yes, exercise can also prevent cancer. As we know that cancer is one of the dangerous diseases in the world because it has killed many people. There are several types of cancer that can be prevented by exercising. What are the types of cancer? Check out the following.

  1. Breast Cancer

This type of cancer generally attacks more women. The cause is an unhealthy lifestyle. By exercising, breast cancer can be prevented. A study revealed that physical activity such as exercise can prevent the growth of cancer cells in the breast by reducing hormone levels and regulating insulin levels that can boost the immune system.

  1. Prostate cancer

Many men complain of this type of cancer. Prostate cancer can affect men who have bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and lazy to exercise. A study found that a man who is diligent in exercising has a lower risk of prostate cancer than men who are lazy to exercise. So, it can be concluded that exercise can prevent prostate cancer.

  1. Lung Cancer

As we know that the lungs are the organs of the body that must always be kept healthy. If there are no lungs, humans will not be able to breathe. Unfortunately, there are still many people who are not aware of the importance of it so that not a few people suffer from lung cancer. In fact, lung cancer can be prevented by exercising regularly. Because, the results of the study indicate that someone who is diligent in exercising can reduce the risk of lung cancer by 20 percent.
