Given the importance of exercise for health and fitness, we should do it regularly. Besides being useful for maintaining health and fitness, exercise can also provide a bonus for our body, which is to form a slim and ideal body. There are various types of sports that can be done, ranging from weight training, gymnastics, cycling, running, and so forth.

This type of exercise, of course, gives a lot of energy and enough to make the body tired. Therefore, not just anyone can do strenuous exercise, one of them is a person with asthma. Asthma sufferers will usually experience difficulty breathing if doing heavy activities such as exercise. So, are asthmatics not allowed to exercise? Of course you can. However, the chosen sport must be right, as below.

  1. Yoga

It can be said that yoga is one type of exercise that does not require great strength. Therefore, this sport is very suitable for asthma sufferers. As we know that yoga consists of movements involving breathing. It is with breathing exercises that the lungs can help treat asthma.

  1. Swimming

The next exercise that is suitable for asthma sufferers is swimming. This is because swimming can train breathing regularly and can fade mucus in the lungs. However, what you need to pay attention to is to choose a pond that does not contain chlorine which is too high because it can give a bad effect on your health.

  1. Walk

The easiest type of exercise is walking. You just have to swing your legs and step in rhythm. So, this sport is suitable for asthma sufferers. Do this exercise with ease and not rush for 30 minutes and end with five minutes of relaxation. This can improve fitness without causing an asthma attack.
