New treatment of breast cancer came! Rural women will also get disease-free

Cheers to Life Foundation started the 'The Pink Brunch' Initiative with the help of Strand Life Sciences, in order to raise funds to help poor non-disabled women struggling with breast cancer. The main objective of this initiative was to break the social stigma associated with breast cancer and to raise funds for poor non-disabled women suffering from breast cancer. Attractions of this event include fashion walks by feminine women defeating breast cancer. Designers Variza Bajaj has been designing costumes for women. Apart from this, this event included live singing performances and activities for children. About 120 people took part in this event.

According to statistics, breast and overarian cancers are the most commonly recorded type of genetic cancer and it is one of the most prominent causes of cancer deaths. New cases of deaths in India are 48.3 percent, which is much higher than US (18.9 percent) and European Union (25.4 percent). By 2020 approximately 76,000 women are at risk of breast cancer.
Founder and President of Cheers Life Foundation, Dimple Bawa said, "The Pink Brunch" was intended to emphasize the seriousness of this problem and the need to reach the poor women suffering from breast cancer. We all know that there is a huge financial crisis with the disease. Understanding that every life is valuable, we will give 100 percent of the amount collected by this event for the treatment of these women. Through this event, we respect the spirit of fighting cancer patients. Dr Vijay Chandrew, chairman of Strand Life Sciences, said breast cancer is a major problem for women of India and cases of breast cancer are increasing every year.
