Healing Stones for aging pets
I have worked with healing stones for a couple of years now. From sinus pressure (fluorite) to anxiety (lepidolite), I have experienced the benefits firsthand. When my senior dog, Houston, started displaying signs of confusion and disorientation, I began researching various ways to support healthy aging.
I usually research multiple sites before making my selections. Chalcedony is one stone that is commonly believed to assist with dementia. Amethyst is an excellent, overall, healing stone. Blue Lace Agate instills calm for anxious beings. Black Tourmaline is a highly protective stone.
Initially, I kept the stones in a sturdy beadcage attached to his collar. While I noted an immediate decrease in his troubling behaviors (most notably standing in the kitchen whining for no apparent reason, his physical needs having been met), the cage kept falling off. A little creativity, and some Gorilla Glue, led to this result:
Houston is calmer, more oriented, and his mommy is much, much happier.
