Nagas' Headhunters Now Hornbill Festival

Nagas' (Nagaland) has also practice headhunting during the past years, it was only after the British rule and this brought Christianity to the tribes and communities which has stop this culture.

Head huntings were meant to be done for protection and capturing one village to another village. The most head hunted man is considered as a hero.

Till today the culture is preserved even if they have stop head hunting. If you want to see the colorful tradition of Nagas', you can visit Nagaland biggest festival that falls in the month of December 1-10 of every year, i.e Hornbill.
