Game of Thrones has come to an end, but those in love with good TV series will not have to suffer for a very long time. The start of June will bring back several fantastic TV series to our screens, and maybe the one waited for by most people is The Handmaid's Tale season 3.
I have just published the list of content coming to Hulu in June 2019, and the most important title on the list is The Handmaid's Tale season 3. There will be some other interesting movies coming to Hulu as well, for example, The Spy Who Dumped Me. I have heard lots of bad stuff about the movie, and even though Mila Kunis is a great actor, she has a hard time keeping the movie up. But, I was surprised to discover that the movie actually has a 60% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 48% critics score, which is far higher scores than I would have imagined based on the critics I have read of the movie. In other words, if I get the chance, I will watch The Spy Who Dumped Me on Hulu in June 2019.

But, The Handmaid's Tale is the highlight. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the second season, and I was afraid of the fact that Aunt Lidia died at the end of season 2, but luckily, based on the trailers, I can confirm that she is alive and well and will return to season 3 of the series. I don't like her as the person she is in the series, but the role is amazing and the acting is awesome.
The Handmaid's Tale is a scary series to watch, as it can so easily be imagined a world that is similar to it. Step by step we move in the direction of dictatorship, but if nobody dares to stand up, we will suddenly be in a world where we cannot do what we want to anymore. It might seem so far off, but watching The Handmaid's Tale actually shows how easily things like this can happen.
The second season of The Handmaid's Tale ended up with the baby of Offred being sent off into safety, while Offred returned back to keep fighting for the liberty of the other handmaid's and to start a rebellion against the leaders of Gedeon. Will she succeed? We will find out as The Handmaid's Tale season 3 will star on Hulu in June 2019.
Another highlight in June 2019 - Big Little Lies season 2
The second highlight in June 2019 isn't on Hulu, but you will find it on HBO Now. That is the second season of Big Little Lies, and I believe that the second season will be great as well. Not only will our "heroes" from the first season return, but Meryl Streep will also enter the scene playing the mother of the husband of Nicole Kidman who died (was killed) in the end of the first season). She doesn't seem to be satisfied with the answers given to her, and therefore she starts investigating and asking questions on her own.
The first season of Big Little Lies was dark and sometimes hard to watch (especially as you could see violence and abuse of women in marriage and more), but it still was a highlight on HBO.
We have much to look forward to on the screens in June 2019. What do you look forward to? I would love to hear it!
