Seems like very reliable information here on why no sirens or phone alerts to enable people to evacuate and why no water was allowed to residents to fight the fires in Lahaina…

Also a good report from a tearful local as to how developers are asking that the permitting process be shortcut so they can get in there … buy property and build for new residents.

If government with its money partners can’t get you before the fire, it’ll sure as hell get you after the fire.

We’ve seen this all many times now. Basically, this is Katrina all over again.
