The City and County of Honolulu Plans to Install Cameras in Parks
It used to be nice to live next to a park. We live next to a park and grew up there and our children grew up around the park. In 2019 the park has been a plague as it is like living next to a third world slum as dozens of homeless people have set up camps around the perimeter of the park and the sidewalks around our area.
It is not only an eye sore but is also dangerous. The police are always coming around due to fights, drugs, and theft.
We know that we have to be compassionate to these people, but they have the ability to take advantage of government services, but they rather take advantage of the loopholes in the law, and the facilities and resources the rest of use pay for.
