Our Tiny House from Above - Big Island Hawaii - Drone Photo

This is a photo of our Tiny House.

The neighbors thought we were crazy when we picked the lot because it is in a "hole" (surrounded by a newer A'a (rough lava) flow back in the early 1900's). The Tiny House sits on an older Pahoehoe (smooth lava) flow.

The lot was covered by rubbish vegetation, which we removed by hand.

Now that it is cleared out our lot pick looks a lot better.

The lot on the top of the picture is a rough lot which will take a lot of money to make habitable.

The land to the right of the picture is raw land not part of the development and not slated for any development.

The land to the bottom of the picture is blocked off for the continuation of the road which you can see on the left.

There is a small ravine after that and thus you have to go all the way to the flat area you can see at the very bottom of the picture for the next potential building site.
