The Honolulu City Lights display is all set up. Opening night was Saturday, December 1st. For Opening Night there is a block party on Punchbowl Street where you will find food booths, kiddie rides & games, live entertainment, and a whole lot of displays from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. There is also the Electric Light Parade and the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Many people make it an annual event to see the displays on the grounds of Honolulu Hale. The most famous display is Shaka Santa and Mrs. Claus, but I could only get a good picture of the Hawaiian instruments display as I was driving by.
