Drone Photo - Coast of South Kona - Big Island of Hawaii

We flew our drone up and took a photo of one part of the coast. This photo is indicative of the hundreds of miles of the coast that is covered by ancient and recent lava flows.

The land looks barren but is filled with life.

The ocean waters are crystal clear and while fish stocks have been depleted there is still lots of life around.

This is one of the few places in Hawaii that we truly feel at peace.

We love this island.
