Ala Wai Harbor - Honolulu, Hawaii

The Ala Wai Harbor is the largest boat & yacht harbor in Hawaii. It is adjacent to Magic Island and Ala Moana Beach Park. The harbor is home to the Waikiki Yacht Club & Hawaii Yacht Club which hosts a number of programs and events. There are junior sailing clubs, waterman programs, canoe clubs, sailing races and fishing tournaments. You can often see the sail boat and canoe clubs practicing in and near the harbor. It's refreshing to see the younger generation learning the discipline, dedication, and hard work it takes to participate in these clubs. They also learn to respect each other and Mother Nature.
