Is it morally right to have your own children?

This will be an interesting discussion I’m sure.

Many of you as Human beings want to ‘carry on your bloodline’.

So you procreate in whichever way works for you, the end result is another human creature or more is made and hopefully delivered safely and opens it’s or their eyes on planet Eart. You have carried on your bloodline, are you happy now?

If you think more deeply about this, is it not selfish on your part to want another being simply to carry on your bloodline?
Think about the world you have bought this being into, can you really afford to have this creature that you so desperately had to conceive. If you birthed a human being knowing you had no way to support it or them, is that a morally right decision? Was it a good choice?

There are literally millions of unwanted human babies and children on this sad dying planet, but you chose to create more? Is that logically thinking?

What is with the ‘having a child’ ‘it’s my child’ You may have created the being, but it is it’s own creature. You don’t own it, it’s not really yours, it’s not a possession to own created just for your pleasure, or perhaps it was…

Why can humans not bring more already on this planet babies and children into loving family life, why is there such resistance to adopting an already existing human being instead of creating new ones? Why is adoption looked at by many as a final option after failing to have one ‘of our own’?

There are many humans who do adopt and bring love and family connection to human beings that they did not make, they love them just as much as if they had made them themselves.

With Eart entering an era when climate change and a very real possibility of total destruction by nuclear bombs, is it morally right to bring yet another human creature into being to satisfy your need?
