Yes indeed, the leaves get cooked into butter and coconut oil.
I used to make butane hasj oil with my leaves. Well, not the fan leaves but waste from the buds when you cut them. Butane extraction is the quickest way but the butane is expensive and not good for health. I think bubble bags are one of the best methods but personally i don't like hash i rather have oil. I found oil to be more potent than hash.
Indeed, I love the terpenes though... to rosin press hash making dab-a-bubble is ok with me yet I have no press.
