Onions

I shared this video the other day, but I wanted to explain a little further!

These are onions that were growing on our property before we got here. They’re looking great, though a little tall, and pretty much dominated by the carrots in the garden bed with them.
I decided to start harvesting every second one or so, and I plan to chop and freeze most of the bulbs, and dehydrate the tops for seasonings.
Anything that was yellow, brown or damaged I composted, and then used my herb scissors to chop up the beautiful green parts.
This bag smells AMAZING! So happy with how they turned out, and I can’t wait to mix it up and make seasonings for popcorn, soups and stews, anything savoury really!! ❤️
