Today's Harvest

Good day steemians! Let me share with you the today's harvest, the 2 kinds of banana. The "moratso" and "lakatan" in Cebu Philippines.

Pictures above was taken a week ago before the harvest and posted it already last week. I posted it again coz i was not able to take picture during the actual harvest due to strong wind and rain. It will just serve as proof of harvesting or a prove that this was really the fruit that we harvest.

This morning I took picture for this two awesome bananas.

Though banana can be harvested in green, you should start to a hint of yellow on most of the fruit. For best results, harvest when the bananas take on a healthy, light green appearance. And that's what we did. Do not wait until the fruit is completely yellow, as the sweet inside will attract bugs and rodents. :)

We'll wait a couple of days to completely yellow. :)
