Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, India
Hello Steemit,
Here is a picture of Ganga Aarti at Haridwar. Haridwar is considered one of the holiest places in the Hindu religion. It is also the site for the 12 yearly Kumbh Mela, a religious congregation that is known for being the largest congregation of people on earth.
Faith is a tricky thing to understand. It's not binary for sure.. there is no rigid framework in which faith can be understood and defined.
To each their own. Some find solace in the solitude and silence while others find peace in the collective devotion. No path is perfect and the ultimate goal is the same.
The journey is more inwards than outward. Given that, the path depends on self and no two paths can ever be the same.
It's in this realm of plurality and flexibility that spirituality exists.
