Hardware wallets can be used to protect everything online! I want my Steemit account on my Trezor, Idea for the devs??
Bitcoin created a market for individual online security
Till a few years ago value was always protected and guaranteed by an entity like a bank. Digital information of individuals also reflects value, but probably not enough to create a product that secures our personal information for 100%. With the rise of Bitcoin, there was enough intensive to create a new product to secure data by individuals themselves. The hardware wallet was born.
Soon (almost) everyone will own a hardware wallet
The first generation of hardware wallets brought the ability to store cryptocurrencies in a very secure way. Since cryptocurrencies get more popular every day, this is a fast growing market. However, the real opportunity is the fact that hardware wallets of the 2nd generation are able to protect online accounts like Dropbox, Gmail, Wordpress en certainly much more to come!
The product cycle tells that when most of the development is done and the product gets more popular, they will be created by mass production and the price will drop significantly. Then a hardware wallet will be inexpensive enough to attract people outside of the cryptocurrency space. Almost everyone will own one to protect their online accounts e.g. Facebook, e-mail and their trading platform.
I want to protect my Steemit account with my Trezor!
Since Trezor and Steemit are open source, I would like to ask the developers in the Steemit community to create the possibility to sign in to Steemit with a Trezor. This will make the accounts way more secure. Furthermore, then it won’t be needed to store an extra pas phrase. You can then recover everything with the Trezor recovery seeds.
I really recommend all the owners of cryptocurrencies to get a hardware wallet. The knowledge that your digital wealth is secure will give you peace of mind. The future updates will give you more and more options and finally all your online activity will be protected!

Hardware wallets are a must for security. Everyone should keep the majority of their digital currency savings in hardware wallets. Even 2FA is at risk since we have seen hackers access peoples email and phones. If hardware has to be plugged in, it's that extra layer a hacker can't just access.
What is the best you would recommend that is also the cheapest?
