The biggest drawback of these hardware wallets is their lack of support for many new alt coins (i.e. IOTA, Link, Verge, ... etc). If you are an avid BTC, ETH and LTC investor, owning Ledger Nano S or Trezor makes sense. Otherwise, there is still a fear of getting your prized cryptos hacked and stolen.

Sort:  

yeah, it does make sense but whatever cryptocurrencies they support, it is far better to keep them on hardware wallet then to leave them on online exchange. Still, they are safe in a hardware wallet
