Hardisk Partition

Hardisk drive or hard drive is a data storage device that stores data temporarily. Partition is of two types MBR and GPT.
GPT partition is nowadays replacing MBR. But MBR partition is the most compatible than GPT. We mostly use MBR partition, but other operating system also uses GPT.
MBR stands for Master Boot Record and GPT stands for GUID partition table.
We can make partition of Hard drive during installation by formatting then deleting and again creating new drive. This process is known as partition.
