HappyChallenge - Till last so it was a very special Sunday!

Hello!

Today is Sunday. It seemed to be a Sunday like any other.

My child who goes to chess once a week from January has been invited to his first chess competition. How for him is a hobby, we accepted to go to the contest jokingly. I paid the participation fee of 50 Ron and was enrolled in the 6-10 year group. On the list of 30 enrolled, 23 participants and 6 rounds.

Many of the 23 participants are aged 9 and 10, with over 3 years of experience and more active competitions. So we are quiet by dreaming of a match won for his morale.

And the games started. There was a game, we added a victory 1,2,3,4,5...

After 3 hours of competition, surprise. My child won 5 of the 6 games played and earned an honorable place 3 at a difference of 0.5 points of 2nd place and 1.5 points of 1st place :). The joy of the dwarf was as great as our surprise about his performance.

On the way he was so happy about his first trophy that we stopped at the first mall to celebrate. If the cup accepted to leave it in the car the medal wore it proudly until I got home.

Till last so it was a very special Sunday.
