Another day in paradise 💕

The ducks are not happy!

I mixed up a plate of treats and also boiled a couple huge pots of water to pour into their icy pool, (they have a small plastic kiddy pool) just to make some water for them to splash in since the pond is now frozen over.

So at least an attempt has been made to appease them.

The ice is pretty solid toward the shore, in the middle however, it’s still not very thick, when the snow started this afternoon, you could see all the dark spots, showing weak points in the pond’s frozen cover.

It will likely be frozen solid eventually and will be a great place to skate!

I started another new painting.

I’ve been thinking of doing this for a while, I’m happy with my outrageous use of gesso too.

I’ll clean it up, sharpen it, fix the handle etc and it shouldn’t take too long! Yay!
Maybe I’ll even start another while this one is drying!

If any of you have suggestions on what you’d like to see me paint I would love to hear them!! I may not actually paint it, because I’m not a robot, I can’t just do anything, but most animals, simple landscapes, objects etc.. are usually doable. 🙂
