Valentine's Day

The provincial government of Aceh does not ban the celebration of Valentine's Day which falls every February 14 of each year.

"The celebration of origin should not be excessive, the law is mubah, maybe, as long as it is not against the law," said Governor of Aceh Irwandi Yusuf at Vice President Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (13/2/21/2018).

Irwandi also reminded the celebration is not to break the law.

"Probably do not break the law," said Irwandi.

In fact, Irwandi said he did not want the districts / cities in Aceh to make a ban on Valentine's Day celebration.

"It's OK to forbid them not to, it's up to them not to overdo it," said Irwandi.

However, according to Irwandi, his side still pay attention to the people who disagree with the celebration of Valentine's Day.

"We should consider suggestions from other people who do not like celebration (Valentine)
