The Long Road Through Texas

My second hike in the great state of Texas and I am enjoying the weather as much as all of the awesome sights. Me and Rain Drop have been blessed with meeting many wonderful and very nice people along the way too.

We have been traveling through both hot and cold dry plains after going north and west from the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

This guy is a Zebra that lives in Eagle lake Texas on hwy 90 behind a fence... I'm not sure how I feel about that but he was beautiful.

Rain Drop never fails to shine her light on people along the our journey.

I've been able to find a few nice camp spots especially when we come across BLM LAND. It's not always so glamorous or easy although I must say.

Here you can see Rain inside the brand new tent that didn't come with the tent poles on Jamaica beach Texas. We made it work with a little string and some post that was there near the dunes in the sand.
