@polebird: ❤️ The Steemit Happiness Experiment #5 - Fresh air and sunshine! ❤️
Happy Friday Steemians! This is post number 5 of the weekly Friday series for the community I’m calling the “Steemit Happiness Experiment” in effort to lift the spirits of Steemians and spread some joy! I believe happiness is exponential and gets passed along. For today’s happiness experiment, I encourage you to..
Spend some time outside when the weather permits!
A breath of fresh air and sunshine on skin always brings simple happiness. There are so many outdoor activities to indulge - a short walk in the park, hiking, biking, relaxing, relaxing, hammocking, just to name a few.
A lot of "indoor" activities can actually be done outside. For instance, yoga usually done in a studio, can be practiced outdoors.
Food can be taken outdoors - dining al fresco on a patio or even a picnic! In the spring time, I even enjoy taking snacks outside to catch up with some reading or tv shows. I'm excited that it's patio weather in Dallas lately!
If you look around in your hometown for some outdoor spaces, you may surprise yourself and find some cool spots to explore!
The outdoors can be enjoyed by yourself (safety first, of course), with friends, and even with furry friends!
What are you favorite outdoor activities my fellow Steemians? I hope you take this week's challenge into consideration as you go into the weekend and next week! Thanks for reading!
Jess
P.S. Doesn't that tree stump in the photo above remind you of GOT?
The happiness of steemit cant be wholely expressed in anyway..its lovely steeming always @polebird
thank you! :) happy friday!!
great post...Upvoted Thanks
Great
Naaawwww these photos are so good! Congrats to your various photographers!
Portland seems to be 8 months rainy, 4 months amazing. Our new place has a massive outdoor area where we have dinner every night (when it's warm enough) and of course our Jacuzzi and swimming pool. After living in townhouses and apartments our entire adult lives, it is so good to have such close access to the outdoors. Even just grass on your bare feet can be so amazing.
The photo with the bus is easily my favourite, but what's the story behind the chessboard? You both plus the trees, plus that chair all look spectacular.
haha thank you!! I heard that portland is always raining, although the weather was pretty decent when we went! :) That's awesome you dine al fresco nightly when weather permits! How fun! :) Is the swimming pool a lot of maintenance? heheh the chessboard photo was taken at my friends outdoor wedding :P there was awhole little area in the garden that was game of thrones themed! Pretty awesome :)
P.S) I only just saw the PS, but that was so my first thought too!
Very lovely pictures.
Fresh air, exercises, nature... Maximum serotonin )
I also love to do acrobatic outside. I remember the time how we meet all together with my acro- and parkour friends and we learn flips on the send close to the river. It was amazing time... No need nothing more. Just happiness in the moment
thank you so much! sand is a "soft" place to learn :D it really does give simple happiness!
Dude, isn't it ALWAYS patio weather in Dallas? In the UK we're like ants on sugar when the sun comes out! For a three week period each year we enjoy the crap out of it!
oh wow! I didn't realize it was only 3 weeks of sunshine there! haha I guess patio weather to me is like usually 4-5 months of the year? spring/fall when its actually pleasant and not too hot not too cold!
Haha ok, I'm lying a little, but we get so much rain it's rarely patio weather! Quite a nice day today but still rather chilly for March!
