Hanuman ji

Hanuman is a revered figure in Hinduism, and is considered to be one of the most important characters in the Hindu epic Ramayana. He is depicted as a monkey god with extraordinary strength, agility, and devotion to Lord Rama.

According to Hindu mythology, Hanuman was born to Anjana, an apsara who had been cursed to live as a monkey, and Vayu, the god of wind. Hanuman was born with incredible strength and intelligence, and he was blessed with the ability to fly.

As a young monkey, Hanuman was mischievous and would often cause trouble in the forest. One day, he leapt to catch the sun, thinking it was a ripe fruit. The sun god, Surya, was so impressed by Hanuman's bravery and enthusiasm that he granted him the ability to change his size and shape at will.

As Hanuman grew older, he became a devout follower of Lord Rama, the hero of the Ramayana. When Lord Rama's wife Sita was kidnapped by the demon king Ravana, Hanuman helped Rama and his brother Lakshmana in their quest to rescue her. Hanuman flew across the ocean to Lanka, the kingdom of Ravana, and found Sita imprisoned in a garden. He comforted her and assured her that Rama was coming to rescue her.

Hanuman then went on to play a key role in the battle between Rama and Ravana. He helped to gather information about Ravana's army and fought bravely in the war. At one point, he set fire to Lanka with his tail, which led to Ravana's eventual defeat.

Hanuman's devotion to Lord Rama and his heroic actions have made him a beloved figure in Hinduism. He is worshipped by millions of people around the world, and is often seen as a symbol of strength, loyalty, and devotion.
