Like I made a stainless steel table into a bathroom
As I said earlier, I'm from Russia, so I use an interpreter. I hope everybody will understand what we're talking about.
Not long ago I bought a new apartment, and there was a question of design and repair. Since I work at the factory, I thought, why not do something myself? And I came up with the idea of a stainless steel table in the bathroom. So let's go!
To begin with, a 6 millimetre thick stainless steel sheet was purchased.
It was then milled around the perimeter of the sheet and holes were drilled for the sink and mixer.
Then I bought sanding discs of different fractions from medium to smallest, grinding wheel, goy paste, and special polishing paste (it is generally for aluminum, but it is also suitable for stainless steel).
First the coarse treatment.
Then we gradually move on to a smaller fraction.
Then we rub the surface with goy paste mixed with machine oil.
And we polish it all with felt circles.
Repeat the process until the desired result is achieved. It took me about three days.
Finishing with polishing paste by hand until a perfect surface is achieved (do not pay attention to the distant edges, they are mounted in the wall, so I did not focus on them).
Mount it in the wall.
We're taking advantage of it:)
I hope you enjoyed it and the translation was clear. I will be glad to answer all your questions! Thank you for your attention!
