They burn quite a long time! Question: how many times do you need to keep dipping them, and do you need to wait for the wax to harden inbetween dips, ? lol! Ive also seen them made with 2 candles on one wick, one on each side, then the buyer just cuts the wick for 2 candles! Cool post, im hopeing to move to the country hopefully next summer! And candles will be a nice hobby out there to make! Thanks for shareing! 🐝🐝🐝
first time, you dip them for 20 seconds, to make wick filled with wax, then only for 5 seconds. Moving to the country is a great idea, it is my dream :)
Thanks for the info! And is there a special size of rope or cord to buy for the wick? Like in a craft shop?! You must need a deep pot for this lol! And yes i can hardly wait to retire there! We need to put in a power shack on the small piece of property we bought then build a small house. Slowly but surly! If im really lucky, and get alot of whale love it will happen sooner rather then later! Lol 👍♨😂
you are right, it is like in craft shop and for this you need a deep pot. Lately, when we did candles for sale we used 50litred pot, now I use 12litred bucket.
