North Aceh is one of Gampong which is famous for home industry that produces various Aceh crafts. Such as handbags, wallets, suitcases and so forth. These crafts are all made with typical Aceh motifs. The shape is quite unique and interesting.

This handicraft is all produced in Gampong Ulee Madon, Muara Batu District, North Aceh District. To get a glimpse of this embroidery manufacture you have to travel about 25 kilometers or about half an hour drive from the city of Lhokseumawe.

The majority of the adam and the gampong in this village work as craftsmen in addition they also farm if the time has come down into the fields. There are dozens of home industries that produce various handicrafts. Usually home industry owner will be delivered direct materials to make the craft to the home of each craftsman.
