Hamburg, Germany: Ships on Busy Elbe River [Travel Video]
An often overlooked location, Hamburg is, indeed, one of the most attractive travel destinations in Germany. Everyone and their grandmother are visiting Bavaria in general and Munich in particular as people worldwide seem to believe Germany equals Lederhosen and Bratwurst or at least Germany is Bavaria or something along these lines. Nothing could be further from the truth though, and Bavarians to this day are rather wary of fully aligning themselves with "Germany". So let us keep this straight.
That mistake may partly be caused by people visiting Disney World and blindly believing everything the "experience" there. It's all Fake News, that shouldn't be hard to see -- or is it? Maybe it is, as people still tend to believe what's written in your average newspaper...
Germany is, in fact, not a uniform "nation" but the country is made up of a multitude of different geographic areas and cultures -- a fact reflected in Germany's federal states which better align with regional areas than some flat image of one country.
The featured video was taken on the banks of the Elbe river in Hamburg's western parts of town in Blankenese, Nienstedten, and Othmarschen.
