If Hamas didn't want to maximize the body count of their own citizens, the response to Israel warning that they were going to strike a given site would be to tell their people to get to the nearest tunnel.

No, the tunnels are just there for Hamas's brass, and Hamas fighters sneaking into Israel to murder Jews. If you're a woman or a child, you have to stay outside, because Hamas wants you to die.

They want you to die because they know that the Western left is retarded, and they'll take to the streets to pressure spineless politicians to issue sanctions against Israel, and pressure Israel to stop.

Again, every death in this conflict since October 7th is Hamas's fault.
