Yeah, there are people who honestly think that killing all the Jews is the virtuous way to go.

To an extent, it seems clear to me that we should take people at their word -- especially when they're saying something egregious or insane.

So, when Hamas says that the ultimate goal is to kill all the Jews -- not just the ones in Israel -- I believe them.

When the two assholes who murdered the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists said that they were doing it to avenge Muhammad, I believe them.

This is a key to moral assessments.

A lot of people, particularly leftists, operate off of the belief that people don't actually think what they say, and make their moral assessments of of their projections.

We live in a world wherein we have flat earthers, people who believe in Lord Xenu and trapped alien souls, and people who believe that ancient Jews built boats to sail to America and that God changed his mind about black people in 1973.
