Could I make a suggestion? Please don't take any offense to this, it's just some constructive criticism as you are clearly working hard on these. The images seem so very flat, and the colors are a little blown out (the trees in the back look bad). A new camera might be in order to add some dynamic range, but at the very least try to look for some spots that have naturally interesting lighting so you can turn that flash off and add some natural depth to your body and the image. The flash which is in most of your photo's I've seen, because it's so straight on it flattens you out, and looks very point and shoot.
