All Hallows Eve...
They live amongst the ether
restless spirits in transition
haunting all the souls
that have not been forgiven
waiting for this time
each and every year
rising from the dead
to instill horrific fear
lurking in the shadows
the stillness of your mind
to walk among the living
unencumbered or confined
appearing apparitions
falling from the sky
exercise their demons
scare and terrify
one last chance
to settle the score
taking justly vengeance
avenge the name they bore
the walking dead converge
from a soulless purgatory
wandering the streets
in all their ghostly glory
supernatural beings
condemned to walk the night
remain a spooky figure
their never-ending plight
searching for some peace
a chance to finally rest
reliving past transgressions
accursed and unblessed
shrouded in the darkness
the recently bereaved
mingle with the living on
…All Hallows Eve.
