Hello dear Steemians✌, I hope you have had an excellent Halloween, this is my entry for the Hallosteem Makeup contest. (社區萬聖節).

The realization was inspired in a bloody version of Peter Parker (Spider Man), I had the help of my friend @hada.

Halloween in VENEZUELA:

The tradition of Halloween was born in England, Ireland and Usa, however in the twentieth century, in Venezuela occurs something that was called the "Petroleum Boom". This meant that Anglo-Saxon immigrants came to extract petroleum from this country, and consequently brought with them some of the traditions of their countries: like Halloween.

Over the years and due to some cultural "disagreements", Halloween was moved from the 1st to November to the 31st of October.

Although in Venezuela it is very common to dress up and put on makeup to go to a Halloween themed party, in neighborhoods it is not customary to go out to the streets to ask for candies (Trick or Treat).

HALLOSTEEM MAKEUP CONTEST:

THE MAKEUP PROCESS

For the realization of the bloody version of Peter Parker; We use basic and simple materials, cotton, liquid school glue, pharmacy makeup, vaseline and edible dye to make good effects.

It is a relatively simple make-up, however it takes a long time: it took us about three hours to finish it; for the details, and because we needed the glue to be dry, to be able to work properly.

✅ We begin by covering the eyebrows with glue and wait for it to dry to "fade" them with the foundation.

✅ Then we start to put cotton with liquid glue and mold the "skin segments"

✅ With red and black lipstick, we fill the inside of the "mouth" to get a greater depth effect.

✅ Then, we cover the entire face with white cream paint and foundation. We use brown eye shadow, and with small touches we gave to the look a dirty effect.

✅ We add red vegetable dye (liquid), to have the effect of blood drops. We blur the stiffness of the drops, so that it looks more natural.

✅Finally, inside the "new mouth" we apply a mixture of vaseline and red dye, to create a kind of coagulated blood, which as a final touch, would end up being quite real and horrifying!
