Hal Jordan's Story P1

When he was only a common human being, Hal Jordan worked at the Air Force as a test pilot, but it all changed when he was unwillingly transported to a crashed spaceship. In that spaceship Abin Sur introduced to him, a Green Lantern Corps member and ring wielder. Abin Sur was about to meet his end and he was looking for a worthy replacement to bear the ring and protect his space sector, so he gave Hal Jordan the chance to be that replacement, which the human accepted.

After many years of experience, training, problem solving and much much more, Hal Jordan became the greatest Green Lantern.

Regarding planet Earth, he was one of the founding members of the JL (Justice League) which saved the world from many foes and menaces. Hal Jordan failed earth once, particularly his home town Coast city, which was decimated and obliterated by Mongul and Cyborg Superman, where millions of people died. The destruction of his home brought Hal Jordan to a state of destruction and desperation, he even attempted to bring his city back using the power ring but the Guardians of Oa - those who created the Green Lanterns and are their oath and gatekeepers, didn't allow him to do so.

When he was prohibited to bring back his friends, family and fellow citizens, he went on an odyssey and attempted to charge his ring to the maximum power by using the Central Battery of the world Oa (where the guardians are from).
