I do not understand in which way it needs to be written. Patricia's example does not fit in it. It's 2-4-3 or?

The English haiku form is: a short (3-4 syllable) verse, a longer (5-6 syllable) verse, another short (3-4 syllable) verse.

You mean 3-5-3 or 4-6-4??

Sort:  

I mean combinations such 3-6-4 or 4-5-3 too...just keep the first and third verse between 3 and 4 syllables and the second verse between 5 and 6
