Esta semana 15 del concurso comienza el año 2019 con una imagen muy poderosa, que me recuerda los inicios de la humanidad y a la vez da cuenta de la evolución del fuego.
Con mis deseos de bienestar en el año que se inicia, les dejo mi inspiración:
Tú, viejo fuego,
flama personal de sol.
Te admiramos.

You, ancient fire,
personal sun flare.
We admire you.
Un haiku que es casi una oración, y que tal vez capta el significado ancestral de estas piras ardientes en el corazón del invierno: invocar el sol durante su ausencia.
A haiku that is almost a prayer, and that perhaps captures the ancestral meaning of these burning pyres in the heart of winter: to invoke the sun during its absence.
