Those are real? I guess they can take more than just tropical all the time, although you are milder than here no doubt.
They are real. We actually have quite a few. They just don't grow as fast as they do in the tropics:)

I'm always amazed to see palm trees here in BC. Obviously, they survive well enough but I often wonder if they're happy. Love your haiku, you are very talented! :)
