Nothing behind you,
No watcher with ill intent,
As far as you know...
Can you do better? Comment below with your own creation!
In the darkness of the night, there is always someone behind you, stalking you, following you wherever you go, do not feel afraid that it is your shadow that will never leave you.
Not quite a haiku, alas. While the English form isn't quite identical to the Japanese due to language differences, an English haiku is three lines long, with seventeen syllables in total.
Five syllables here,
Seven more syllables here,
Five more at the end.
