The manufacturer of electronic digital currency wallets, Ledger, has continued to refute claims that its devices could be easily hacked after a teenager succeeds in doing so, Ars Technica reported today (March 21st).

After 15-year-old British teenager "Salim Rashid" created a code to "hack" wallets  of Ledger in November 2017, the company issued publications describing it as "not embarrassing" and said potential attacks "can not extract private keys ."

Rashid then dismissed the allegations on social networking sites and posted on his personal blog  on March 20, saying he could still "extract the key independently as soon as the user opened the device" To control manipulation of destination addresses

Ledger has tried to correct a total of three security vulnerabilities in its equipment this month, including those identified by Rashid. In a March 20 , Ledger told users that they would be fully protected after updating their wallets:

"Updating the integrity of your device and the successful update 1.4.1 is to ensure that your device is not targeted from any corrected attack, and no further action is needed. Your assets / keys are secure."
